Why Roofprint exists.

Replacing a roof is one of the biggest cheques a homeowner writes — and the way it's usually sold is built to keep you in the dark. We started Roofprint to do the opposite: show the price first, prove the scope before you sign, and only ask for a deposit once your materials are at your home.

Our mission

Make a roof replacement feel like a clear decision, not a leap of faith.

A roof should be priced and explained the way you'd want for your own parents' home: a real number up front, every assumption shown, photos of the actual roof, and a payment schedule that protects you instead of us. We'd rather lose a sale to an informed homeowner than win one in the dark.

Show the price first

We publish a real planning range online — labelled a planning range, never an "estimate" — with every assumption beside it. No GTA roofer does this. We think hiding the number is the root of most of what homeowners hate about roofing.

Prove it before you commit

Before any contract, you get photos of your actual roof, real measurements, and the exact scope in writing. If we find a problem under the old shingles, you see it in the report — not as a surprise on invoice day.

Say what we can honestly say

We are a new company, so we will not borrow a competitor's years or badges. Every system is installed to manufacturer specification. When we earn a certification, we will link to the proof. Until then, we say so plainly.

Earn the deposit, not demand it

Most roofers ask for a large deposit before a single shingle moves. We ask for 10% and we don't charge it until your materials arrive. The money follows the work.

We're new — and we won't pretend otherwise.

Plenty of roofers claim "25 years" they inherited or invented. We won't. Roofprint is a new GTA company, and the honest way to earn your trust isn't a number we can't back up — it's proof you can check. So we're building our reputation one fully-documented roof at a time.

Every system we install is installed to manufacturer specification. When we hold a real manufacturer certification or licence, we'll link to the proof you can verify yourself — not a logo that links nowhere.

Roofprint is brand new — why should I trust you with my roof?

Because we make trust checkable instead of asking you to take our word. You see a real price before you talk to us, a photo-backed Roof Evidence Report before you sign, and your deposit is only charged once materials are delivered. A named foreman is on every job. We would rather show proof than make claims a new company can't back up.

What is the charter-customer program?

For our first roughly ten roofs we install at transparent cost so we can build a real portfolio of GTA projects — actual before, open-roof, and finished photos on real homes. Charter customers get the same systems and the same warranty as everyone else; the difference is that their project helps us prove ourselves with evidence rather than marketing.

Do charter customers have to leave a review?

No. We ask every customer for an honest review after the job, but there is no discount or trade tied to it — no quid-pro-quo. A review you feel pressured to leave is worth nothing to a homeowner reading it later, so we don't do that.

How much does a roof replacement cost in the GTA?

A typical detached architectural shingle replacement runs about $15,000 to $20,000 plus 13% HST, with most jobs landing around $5.50 to $8.50 per square foot installed. The biggest hidden cost is deck replacement — about $3 to $6 per square foot where boards are rotten — which is why we confirm the deck before you sign. GTA labour adds roughly 15 to 25 percent over the rest of Ontario.
