Terms of use.
These terms cover how you may use the Roofprint website. They are written to be read, not to hide things. Your actual roofing work is covered by a separate written agreement — this page does not replace it.
Last reviewed: June 25, 2026
The short version
- The instant figure from your address is a planning range — an indicative starting point, not a price quote, an estimate, or a contract.
- Your verified price is confirmed only after an on-site, photo-backed assessment.
- When you hire us, you sign a separate roofing agreement with its own terms and its own cancellation rights under Ontario consumer law.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
1. Who these terms are between
This website is operated by Roofprint Roofing (“Roofprint,” “we,” “us”), a residential roofing company serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. “You” means anyone who visits or uses the site. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Sample notice: Roofprint is a newly launched company. Some business details are placeholders until our incorporated legal name and contact line are confirmed, and are clearly marked as sample where they appear on the site.
2. The planning range is not a price or a contract
When you enter your address, the site can show a planning range for a roof replacement. This range is an indicative figure to help you plan and budget. It is generated from public property data and current GTA material and labour rates. It is deliberately not called an estimate, because it is not one.
A planning range:
- is non-binding — it does not commit you or us to anything;
- is not an offer you can accept to form a contract;
- assumes typical conditions (for example, one existing shingle layer, sound decking, standard access, no low-slope sections) that may not match your roof;
- can move up or down once your roof is actually inspected.
A common concealed cost is the roof deck underneath your shingles. If boards are rotted and need replacing, that is found during the assessment, not from your address — so it is not included in the planning range until we have seen it.
3. How you get a verified price
Your verified price comes after an on-site, photo-backed assessment of your specific roof. We measure it, photograph its condition, and write down the exact scope of work. Only then can we give you a firm number to sign against. Until that happens, any figure you have seen is a planning range and nothing more.
4. Roofing work has its own separate agreement
Hiring Roofprint to replace or repair your roof is a separate transaction from using this website. If you decide to proceed, you sign a written roofing agreement that sets out the price, the scope, the payment schedule, the start and completion dates, and the warranty. That agreement — not this page — governs the work.
Roofing agreements in Ontario are consumer contracts under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002. They carry statutory cancellation rights that depend on how the agreement was signed:
- If you sign in your own home during a booked visit (a direct agreement), you generally have a 10-day cooling-off period to cancel for any reason.
- If you sign remotely on your own device (an internet agreement), you have cancellation rights that depend on us delivering a compliant copy of the agreement to you — which we do immediately on signing.
Your specific agreement states the cancellation notice that applies to you, in plain language, at the time you sign. We charge a deposit only at the contract stage, and — as we promise across the site — we do not charge it until your materials are delivered to your home.
5. Acceptable use
When you use this website, please do not:
- break any law, or use the site to harm or defraud another person;
- submit an address or details that are not yours to submit, or that you have no permission to share;
- try to break, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems;
- upload anything containing malware, or interfere with how the site works for others;
- copy or resell our content, reports, or tools without our written permission.
We may suspend access to the site if it is being misused. Photos and details you upload during a quote or repair request are handled as described in our privacy notice.
6. No warranty of website accuracy
We work to keep the site accurate and useful, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Pricing ranges, cost figures, system descriptions, and timelines on this site are general information and can change. Any sample data, sample projects, or sample reports are labelled as such and are illustrations, not records of completed work.
We do not warrant that the site will always be available, error-free, or up to date, or that any figure shown will match your verified price. Nothing on this website is professional, legal, or financial advice. For a decision about your roof, rely on your written agreement and your on-site assessment.
7. Limit of our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Roofprint is not liable for losses that arise from your use of — or inability to use — this website, including from relying on a planning range or other general information as if it were a verified price. This section does not limit any rights you have under Ontario consumer law that cannot be waived, and it does not affect the obligations we take on in your signed roofing agreement.
8. Links and third-party services
The site may link to other websites — for example, a manufacturer’s product page or a review platform. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. Where we describe products, we install them to manufacturer specification; we do not claim certifications, awards, or years in business that a new company cannot yet hold.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business and the site change. When we do, we will update the “last reviewed” date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about these terms or your use of the site is subject to the courts of Ontario. Nothing here removes a right you have under applicable Ontario consumer protection law.
11. How to reach us

Counsel-review note: this is a plain-language website terms page intended for general use and to make our pricing language honest. It is a draft pending review by Ontario legal counsel before launch, and is not a substitute for legal advice. The statutory cancellation-rights summary in section 4 reflects the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and must be confirmed against the exact, channel-specific cancellation notice in each signed roofing agreement, which controls.
